Continued “NEW VISION” 2026 Continues!
As we close the first (6) months approaching February, I would like to share a look back on those items accomplished in this short time period. In addition, I am providing updates on what is presently being addressed/accomplished.
NEXT STEPS CAMBRIDGE VISION AT A GLANCE
- Course renovation continues and will pick up the pace (weather permitting soon as there is a plan in place with contractor)
- Cart path renovation (really got torn up w/ heavy equip)
- Course upgraded equipment (initial purchase, 3 yr plan)
- Maintenance shop heat installation
- Mechanics and course bathroom upgrades/clean
- Further evaluation of restaurant remodel, Green room flooring first (Feb)
- Banquet/Event room bar facelift (Feb)
- Further evaluation of patio design
- Landscape club entrance, Volkman, gazebo area, fountain area (Spring)
ANALYTICAL PRICING STRUCTURE/IMPLEMENTATION
Note: this has been very time-consuming rebuilding a consistent moving forward structure. Sorry for any delays.
- ILLUMINATED sign being installed at entrance promoting activity at club
- Golf Course Tier Rates and Driving Range – in place
- Season Passes, Outings, Tickets, Leagues, College and High School – in place
- Pro Shop Grab & Go and new merchandise – in place
- Restaurant Food and Beverage – menus and price structure in place
- Restaurant Daily M-F lunch Specials $10.95 – menus complete – coming Feb 2nd / 5 options also 6 soups / salad option
- Restaurant Pizza Deliveries on Sun afternoon through 7 pm only to Cambridge community – under consideration, depending on interest making it advantageous from a staffing prospective
- Restaurant Food and Beverage – Sat brunch to include Bloody Mary bar and Mimosas, Saturday theme nights being developed, coming Feb
- Banquet and Event Food and Beverage – menus and price complete, outings, leagues, events all complete, promotions going to print
- Banquet and Event Rental/Amenities – weddings, business meetings, activity events in nice folder presentation – room pricing complete, promotions going to print
- Banquet and Event Activities – ongoing by recommendation, developing activity calendar
- WEB-SITE TOTAL Rebuild (dated) after the aforementioned is updated
- TopTracer – price structure in place – MULTIPLE bundle programs have been developed – promotions going to print (introducing Feb)
🚀 Major Milestones Achieved
Here’s a glimpse of what’s been accomplished
- Deep cleaning and revitalization of the entire Cambridge campus
- Clock tower lighting repairs and restoration
- General mechanical leakage repairs across multiple facilities
- Construction of an 8-foot cinder block dumpster enclosure
- Complete mechanical/equipment efficiency rebuild of the kitchen
- New equipment for both the Primary Bar, Event Bar, Pro Shop, Mulligans
- Installation of new TVs in the Bar and Restaurant
- Banquet/Event total remodel, floors, dance floor, paint, chairs, fireplace repairs, concierge offices
- Banquet/Event audio system, high-definition projectors, 3 screens, 52 speakers, surround sound
- Construction of VIP room for 12 accommodations, small private parties, requested set up for Banquet amenities
- Patio upgrades featuring new designer umbrellas
- Renovated and fully stocked Pro Shop with new merchandise
- Grab-and-Go convenience setup in the Pro Shop
- Clean-up of all eight lakes
- GPS added to golf carts
- Purchase of grounds equipment, upgrade mechanics
- Cleaned up maintenance shop “Boneyard”
- Water line installation to maintenance shop
- TopTracer completion and opening “state of the art” promoting Feb
- Mulligans Drive-Thru completion and opening
- Hole #13 (“The Volcano”) completion — Hole 16 (‘’Church Pews”) specialty bunkers, 17, 18 partially complete

- Fully staffed Directors and Support Teams
- Position descriptions, handbooks, and appointment letters
- Updated communication tools and new name tags
- Comprehensive food & beverage inventory system
- Reprogrammed Point-of-Sale
- Numerous updated policies and procedures
- Liquor license approved under new business entity
- Food permits approved under new business
